Stranded With a Billionaire was an easy & very sexy read. I absolutely enjoyed it!
Logan and Bronte was a fun couple to read about. The author displayed their romance & chemistry beautifully in this story. The sparks were abundant between these two from the get-go and the romance was sweet, yet extremely sexy. I loved their steamy and no-strings fling on the island and even more when they were just dating as a normal couple and doing touristy things in New York City. The dialogue and story flowed naturally throughout and I never lost interest.
I also enjoyed the plot and I liked the fact that the heroine, Bronte, had a backbone. She stood up for herself throughout the story and wasn't some spineless doormat. I also really enjoyed Logan and thought that he was a great hero who possessed a healthy dose of the Alpha gene ---> possessiveness. He was extremely loving and protective of Bronte, yet his trust issues got in the way and created some problems. However, rest assured that these two did get their happily ever after and the ending was just fabulous! Loved it.
Also, the author introduced the two characters who are going to be the stars of the next installment in this series: Gretchen who is Bronte's roommate & the mysterious Hunter who is Logan's billionaire friend. Gretchen sounds like a tough chick so I can't wait to see how Hunter will sweep her off her feet. I cannot wait for their story! All I can say is that I know it's going to be an interesting one.
Overall, Stranded With a Billionaire was hours of fun & sexy entertainment. It made for an easy and sexy read without all the angst and the unnecessary drawn out drama. I enjoyed the characters, the plot, the writing and storytelling. With that, I look forward to reading many more books from Jessica Clare.

Stranded with a Billionaire the first installment of The Billionaire Boys Club and it is exactly as what the title says; it is a love story that started while the couple was stranded on an island. The hero is a sexy billionaire, the heroine is an independent young woman, and their love story was one awesome read. I love Jessica Clare's work, and I will read what she writes any day.
Logan Hawkins is as typical as any billionaire you will read about. He is sexy, arrogant, rich and you know he will fall deeply in love with a heroine when he least expects it. But what he does in the process had me LOL and sigh from his sweetness. He would buy anything or anyone to get what he wants but what he doesn't know is simply how to love without needing to pay for anything. But Bronte Dawson, waitress extraordinaire, will show him how it's done. Bronte is as simple as you can get. This girl has dreams but is simply satisfied with what she has and she knows how to work hard. But after winning a vacation trip and ending up stranded on an island with a sexy man, she will learn how to take advantage of what faith has presented to her. Of course, until they are rescued and reality hits her like a freight train. Bronte is super funny and totally down to earth gal and I just love that she has the heavy "plato-isms" and she is comfortable with who she is. It just made her stand out in Logan's eyes and his pals. I thought she handled herself and Logan well steering her love life to the right path.
Overall, Stranded with a Billionaire is a terrific start to this series. Several aspects of this book were predictable, but its predictability did not deter me from fully loving this book. The premise of sexy billionaires in this private club helping each other to success is particularly intriguing. What catches me the most is that I know these untouchables will soon be captured and brought down by a woman and their love for her. That my friends will always be a delightful read for me.

Another Controlling Alpha Male

It starts with a hurricaine and ends like a ripple in a pool.Hero( with trust issues) and heroine(with self image problem) have cute meet in a hurricaine, have sex and more sex, have misunderstandings,more sex, get back together, more misunderstandings about his money, more sex with her finally accepting him and spending piles of his money, HEA.
I don't know what it was but I didn't connect with the characters. I don't know the reason for some secret club where the old college buddies, all billionaires, are doing some illegal things to become and stay billionaires.I assume each of the friends will appear in future books.
The constant quotes from Plato from the waitress with a college degree became tedious. After being stranded for a few days in a hurricaine, having sex, the heroine runs back to her dead-end job. The hero, a billionaire, and an alpha male, just throws money around like it was nothing. He tracks her down, buys the restaurant where the heroine works so he can see the heroine and get her to move in with him to be available when he wants her for whatever reason. When she tells him she loves him and gets no response, she runs away and works in a coffee shop. He then buys the coffee shop and later buys 3 restaurants as a present to test her because he didn't trust her. I found the manipulative actions of the hero boring and the epilogue rather predictable. Not sure I'd recommend this book.
